A Special Thank You To Our Public Service Members

Dear Public Service Members,

I’ve always felt a deep sense of gratitude and respect for the people of our society that take on the sacrifice of public service. I want to extend my deepest thanks to all those that have carried that burden.

My Dad was a Vietnam veteran. I saw what he went through as a veteran returning back to society after having been shot in the knee during the war. My son was also in the Navy for four years. I’ve always had great respect for our military.

And not just the military deserve my thanks. I used to be a campus supervisor and health aide at a school district. I saw firsthand how much our teachers do for our kids. I also saw how underappreciated they are.

Our police put their lives on the line every day too. They have no idea what each day will bring, yet still push through to make sure we’re safe. Fire and ambulance, anyone in emergency services, thank you!

Our health workers - doctors, nurses, nurse aides - too, especially during the pandemic, deserve our thanks for keeping us healthy.
